David was SO ready for this sleep over at Wes's house. It was finally summer and they were out of school. And they were out of Dalton Academy's dorm rooms. It was not that David hated the dorms, but his own house, and especially the Montgomery house, were so much better. His mother dropped him off at Wes's house. He waved as his mom drove off, then nearly skipped up the walkway to the front door.
It felt good to be out of his Dalton uniform. He wore relaxed jeans and a faded old t-shirt. He normally wore some kind of hat, typically a beanie, but it was too hot today. He would be back in his uniform sooner, rather than later though. The Warblers still wore their uniforms whenever they gave a concert or performed at all. And they had a performance coming up. Well, David and Wes had run into Rachel Berry of New Directions at the music store here in Westerville, and they discussed a joint concert. The concert had yet to be approved by the rest of the Warblers or the council, but David had no doubt that it would. Wes and he would bring it up to Blaine tonight. And he knew Blaine would go for it. The joint concert would mean more time with his boyfriend, Kurt. And if Blaine agreed, then the rest of the Warblers would be up for it. The Warblers were up for just about anything that Blaine wanted to do. David had discovered that during the dreaded Gapattack incident. He'd hated writing that up in the books as Warbler History. But he had to, as historian. Hopefully this concert with New Directions would go a lot better.
He carried his overnight bag with him. In it were not only the essentials for when you stayed overnight in a place, other than your home, but he had cds. N'SYNC cds to be specific. He knew they probably wouldn't listen to any of them, but he brought them anyway. It was tradition. He was pretty sure Blaine would bring a Katy Perry cd or two with him. We wouldn't let them play either artist though. Unfortunately it seemed that Blaine and David had ruined both of them.
David reached the door and didn't hesitate. He grabbed the key that was hidden underneath a rock by the door. After unlocking the door, he stored the key back in it's rightful place and walked right into the house. Wes's house was big...very big. It was bigger than David's. Mr. and Mrs. Montgomery (Mom and Pop, as he called them), were doctors. They could afford this big house. It wasn't that David's family was poor. They weren't. Actually, David's parents did very well, just not as well as Wes's. His parents also had a vacation home in California. David often went on vacation with Wes and his family to California, where Wes was originally from. David quite enjoyed himself on their yacht.
David walked down the hall and found Wes in on of the rooms. He was busy setting up, it looked like. David smirked and watched. "Hey Wes! You having a party or something?"

Wes was excited for summer. Summer meant spending time with friends and his girlfriend and not having to write ten page papers and analyze readings and read about Charlemagne. Summer was also the Summer Spectacular Competition in sunny California. The Warblers were SO winning this year. With Wes and David and Thad on the council with Blaine as their front man, they couldn't loose, even with New Directions at the competition as well. Also, in California, Wes had a summer house there where he used to live. It was on the beach and there was a yacht and a hot tub...needless to say, the Warblers always stayed there for this competition and they always had a blast. Wes might like every single thing to be organized when it came to the Warblers, but he knew how to throw a party. All of the Warbler parties were usually held at his house when they weren't in the common room on campus. Dalton was amazing and the dorms were great, but it was good to be back in his house for a change.
And so, a sleep over at his house with two of his best friends (he deeply questioned this title at times) was just what they needed. Wes was busy straightening the room up (which there was really no point to, because with three teenage boys it was bound to get messy again but his mother had made him) and setting things up for the sleepover. He was wearing jeans and a karate t-shirt as he made sure the video game systems were hooked up to the flat-screen and then tossed a few bags of various snacks on a table. He went over to look at what CD's he could pull out when -
"Hey Wes! You having a party or something?"
"Yes, two of the people I call friends are coming. So, if you see them, could you let them in?" he asked joking with a smirk on his face. David was over at his house all of the time, and Wes knew that the other boy knew where the spare key was. So he was not surprised in the least when David just walked in the door like this.

"Yes, two of the people I call friends are coming. So, if you see them, could you let them in?"
David smiled and laughed. "Yeah, sure! I'll get right on that," he said as he flopped on the couch and immediately stretched out. Wes had the most comfortable couch in the world! Seriously, he did. All his furniture was comfortable. David glanced up at the big flat screen tv and saw the video game system below it. This was going to be the best sleep over ever.
Of course they were going to discuss a little bit of business as well. Warbler business. They were going to discuss the competition and the joint concert with New Directions. He hoped they would get the business part over with quickly. That way the fun could really begin. He could start beating the others butts at video games.
David got up off of the couch and walked over to the cd player, pulling a cd out of his bag. He opened the case and took the cd out. "So when is Blaine supposed to get here?" David closed the cd player and searched through the tracks until he found one that he liked. "It's Gonna be Me" started playing through the speakers. David danced around like a fool. But even dancing as a fool, he looked amazing. He was actually going over some choreography that he was thinking about for this song in particular. Wes had said that they could sing NSYNC for the joint concert. He thought this song could be a good one, and send a friendly message to new Directions.

"Yeah, sure! I'll get right on that,"
Wes chuckled and picked up a pillow from a nearby chair and threw it at David lounging on the couch. They were practically family considering David was over at his house all the time and his parents got personally offended if the boy didn't at least stop by for Thanksgiving and Christmas when their family was actually in Ohio. A lot of the time they went on vacation. Sometimes they even went with David and his family and once or twice had even invited Blaine.
"So when is Blaine supposed to get here?"
"Good question. It's a good thing we put that tracking device on him all those years ago," he said jokingly. "He should be here any minute. Hopefully he won't be moping about Kurt the whole time." he said, shaking his head. He loved Blaine and Kurt, but they could really be obnoxiously cute at times. Like give you cavities cute. They - oh no. Not now. He sighed as David played N'Sync and started dancing along. Must he do this every time they were together? It was bad enough that he agreed to let him do a number for the joint concert, but - he sighed, watching him dance. "You realize if you play N'Sync that Blaine's going to want to play Katy Perry as well when he gets here right?" He really needed to get other friends.

"Good question. It's a good thing we put that tracking device on him all those years ago."
David laughed at that. It was a common joke for them. Blaine was like a puppy, so they needed to keep track of him. Of course a real tracking device was out of the question. They tended to frown on putting them in adult sized people.
"He should be here any minute. Hopefully he won't be moping about Kurt the whole time."
David inwardly groaned. This was going to be miserable if Blaine moped the whole time. He liked Blaine. He really did. Blaine and Wes were his best friends. But now that Blaine had a boyfriend, he sometimes became intolerable. Wes and David never got the way Blaine does when they were away from Jo and Lucy. In fact, David thought that if they did, they would be the butt of a lot of jokes from the Warblers. That didn't seem to happen with Blaine and David wasn't sure why. David decided not to worry about it, and just kept dancing.
"You realize if you play N'Sync that Blaine's going to want to play Katy Perry as well when he gets here right?"
David immediately stopped dancing. "Oh no... You're right!" In a slight panic, David went back to the cd player. He couldn't stand to hear Katy Perry right now. Blaine had ruined her for him. You could only hear "Teenage Dream" so many times without starting to hate that song. David started fumbling with the controls on the stereo, trying to turn it off before Blaine got there.

This was going to be the best summer ever. Okay yeah, he had a summer job performing at a theme park that was going to take time off of his plans, but it was a really fun job. He only wished there were less girls trying to give him their number and/or flirting with him. The only person he wanted attention from in that way was Kurt. Kurt, his amazing boyfriend. The amazing boyfriend that he was going to spend as much time as he possibly could with this summer. The Warblers were now doing a joint concert with New Directions and both teams were going to the Summer Spectacular Competition in California. Blaine was going to get to go to another state with his boyfriend and walk along the beach and collect seashells and Blaine might even convince Kurt to go for a swim. Yep. Best. Summer. Ever.
But for now, he was going over to Wes' to have a sleepover with him and David. They were his two best friends other than Kurt and they always had a blast together. He was sure that Warbler business would be discussed relating to the concert and competition (Wes and David were both council members and took this sort of thing pretty seriously) and that was fine by him. He had made friends with several members of New Directions and was excited to see what that group would do. That and he would get to see Kurt sing. As Blaine approached the door of the house, he wondered if Kurt would get a solo. If it was up to Blaine, he would get a solo every time. His voice was amazing, and everyone should hear it.
He was wearing some jeans and a polo shirt, and was happy to be out of the Dalton uniform. He loved the blazer, but he didn't like wearing it all the time. He knocked on the door and said his hellos to Wes' mother and made his way into the living room where he heard the noise of N'Sync. Well, that meant David was here already. Maybe he would be able to play some Katy Perry as well. He was sure he knew the perfect song they could sing at one of the upcoming performances. Or maybe they could do a different arrangement of Teenage Dream...
Blaine grinned as he entered the room and dropped his bag to the floor. "Decided to start the party without me I see," he said, laughing. He went over and flopped down on the couch, pulling his ipod out of his pocket. "So are we discussing song selections already? Because there's a few Katy Perry songs that would be great to sing..." he said, already pulling up one of his playlists devoted to the pop princess.

"Decided to start the party without me I see."
David finally shut off the cd player. But it was too late. The Katy Perry loving Warbler had already arrived. He was currently flopped on the couch, where David was previously. When he turned and looked at him, he already had his ipod out. No doubt he was pulling up some Katy Perry.
"So are we discussing song selections already? Because there's a few Katy Perry songs that would be great to sing..."
David sighed and gave Blaine his "...Really?" face. Not here five minutes and he was already talking about Katy Perry. He supposed that it wasn't as bad as what he did...there five minutes and already playing N'sync. But that was besides the point! They had already done Katy Perry, and for weeks afterward, Wes and David had been annoyed by that stupid song "Teenage Dream." You'd think that after listening to that song because of Kurt, Blaine would have gotten together with him a lot sooner. But then Wes and David might have been tortured even more. It was a double edged sword.
David picked up a pillow, the same one Wes threw at him, and threw it at Blaine. "We're not doing Katy Perry again. The last time we agreed to that, we were tortured nonstop to that one song!" David wasn't angry about it. In fact Blaine had been like a cute little puppy during the times he listened to the song. And he mentioned Kurt all the time before he arrived at Dalton. Besides it was David's turn. The Warblers were going to perform his favorite artist.

Wes rolled his eyes a bit as David went to turn off the music before Blaine got there. What did David expect would happen? This was Blaine after all.
"Decided to start the party without me I see."
He had to stop himself from not laughing. It was just too funny. Of course Blaine would walk in right as David was going to turn off the N'Sync music. He would have been surprised if David actually managed to turn the music off before the curly-haired Warbler arrived. "I wouldn't call David dancing to N'Sync a party personally," he said, laughing a bit as he went back to looking through CDs.
"So are we discussing song selections already? Because there's a few Katy Perry songs that would be great to sing..."
"We're not doing Katy Perry again. The last time we agreed to that, we were tortured nonstop to that one song!"
Wes groaned quietly at the thought of singing Katy Perry again. He didn't understand Blaine's obsession with her. He thought it might be a gay thing, but Kurt wasn't that crazy about her either so that couldn't be it. "David's right. If I have to listen to Teenage Dream one more time I might puke. It's bad enough we have to watch you make googly eyes at your cell phone all day long as you text Kurt," he said, rolling his eyes. He was happy Blaine and Kurt finally got together, but now that they were actually together, they were disgustingly cute. "We really should take your phone away during Warbler rehearsals so you stop getting distracted. We would get so much more accomplished..." he said, trailing off. Seriously though, if the other guys saw their front runner focused on something, they sort of followed suit. There was only so much his gavel could accomplish during meetings...

"I wouldn't call David dancing to N'Sync a party personally,"
Blaine chuckled as he flipped through his ipod. He had a lot of playlists due to the amount of driving he did on a daily basis driving between Westerville and Lima. There was a Broadway playlist and a Warblers playlist and a few devoted to Katy Perry and then there were even more that were Kurt playlists that featured songs that reminded him of his boyfriend. Those were the playlists that he had been listening to the most lately for obvious reasons.
"We're not doing Katy Perry again. The last time we agreed to that, we were tortured nonstop to that one song!"
"David's right. If I have to listen to Teenage Dream one more time I might puke. It's bad enough we have to watch you make googly eyes at your cell phone all day long as you text Kurt,"
His mouth dropped open in mock surprise. Blaine knew that Wes and David weren't huge fans of the singer. "Katy Perry is a goddess. I don't understand how you guys don't see that. And besides, she's way better than N'Sync anyways," he said, smirking at David. Blaine didn't really believe that, he had no problem with N'Sync. He just liked to have this mock fight to bug Wes. They always knew when to stop 'fighting' and get serious though.Right now was not one of those times. Blaine shook his head and said, "And I do not make googly eyes at my phone when I text Kurt!" Speaking of which, he really needed to text Kurt to let him know he made it over to Wes' okay.
"We really should take your phone away during Warbler rehearsals so you stop getting distracted. We would get so much more accomplished..."
He started taking his phone out when he gasped at Wes. "Would you rather have he text Kurt and know what he's doing or not text him and be wondering the whole rehearsal about what he's doing?" he asked curiously before sending Kurt a text, smiling as he hit the 'send' button. He was so glad he had unlimited text messaging. The phone bill would be huge if he didn't have that.

"David's right. If I have to listen to Teenage Dream one more time I might puke. It's bad enough we have to watch you make googly eyes at your cell phone all day long as you text Kurt."
David nodded in agreement. It seemed impossible to keep the Warbler focused on rehearsals now. He always had his phone out, checking on Kurt.
"Katy Perry is a goddess. I don't understand how you guys don't see that. And besides, she's way better than N'Sync anyways."
David gasped. "You take that back!" David knew that Blaine was joking. They often had this pretend fight to annoy Wes. And it usually worked. Of course it got them in trouble most of the time. It really was only a matter of time before the gavel came out.
"And I do not make googly eyes at my phone when I text Kurt!"
David laughed. One of these days he was going to film Blaine when he texted Kurt. The boy was ridiculous. "Oh, but you do, Blaine. Seriously, do we have to film you to convince you?"
"We really should take your phone away during Warbler rehearsals so you stop getting distracted. We would get so much more accomplished..."
"Would you rather have he text Kurt and know what he's doing or not text him and be wondering the whole rehearsal about what he's doing?"
Oh boy, David thought that could be potentially worse than having the Warbler text all the time during rehearsals. However, the Warblers did have rules. And they couldn't have their lead Warbler breaking them. The rest of the Warblers would start breaking them, and it would turn into chaos. David looked at Wes and gestured toward Blaine with his hand. This was the council president's job. David loved passing things on to Wes. Meant he didn't have to deal with them himself.

"Katy Perry is a goddess. I don't understand how you guys don't see that. And besides, she's way better than N'Sync anyways."
"You take that back!"
No. No, this was not happening again. This stupid argument that went absolutely nowhere that Blaine and David had all the freaking time. He was pretty sure they did this just because they knew it got on Wes' nerves. But, there it was. This same argument was happening in his own house. Ugh. Why did he call these two friends? He was sure that he would be able to find normal friends who didn't have crazy obsessions with pop artists. He would put a want ad in the paper tomorrow. "Do I seriously need to ban all talk of Katy Perry and N'Sync from this party? Because I have the authority to do that considering this is my house and I am the President. I can go get my gavel and make it official," he said, completely serious. He head heard this conversation so many times, he knew exactly what the two boys were going to say before they even had a chance to say it. He was not going to let that happen today.
"And I do not make googly eyes at my phone when I text Kurt!"
"Oh, but you do, Blaine. Seriously, do we have to film you to convince you?"
He rolled his eyes. "It's true. It was bad enough when the two of you were sharing looks before you got together, but now it's just disgusting. Seriously, it should not be legal for two people to be that cute all the time." He couldn't do it anymore. He couldn't sit though another rehearsal teaching the group a song and watch Blaine text on his phone with that dopey grin on his face. There was a time and a place for that, and Warbler's rehearsal was not one of them.
"Would you rather have me text Kurt and know what he's doing or not text him and be wondering the whole rehearsal about what he's doing?"
Did he seriously just - yes he did. He was texting Kurt as he said that. What were they going to do with this boy? They were going to have to stage an intervention or something. He saw David look at him and gesture to Blaine and Wes knew that he was handing him off so he could do his President duties. "Blaine. Look. We all love that you and Kurt finally got together. Really, we are. But you need to understand that rehearsals are for rehearsing and not texting your boyfriend about what type of scarf he's wearing. Seriously Blaine. If you keep doing this, then I won't hesitate to take your phone before rehearsal. It's only fair. We can't allow you to text and not let any of the other guys text as well. Contrary to popular belief, you don't get special privileges," he said with a sigh. He didn't like having to put his foot down with his friends, but as the President of the Warblers, it was his job to reign in all of the boys in the group. Hence why he had his gavel to assist him. It was not easy work keeping track of fifteen teenage boys.

"You take that back!"
Blaine laughed at that before responding with: "There's nothing to take back since it's the truth!" They had way too much fun with this mock fighting routine they did.
"Do I seriously need to ban all talk of Katy Perry and N'Sync from this party? Because I have the authority to do that considering this is my house and I am the President. I can go get my gavel and make it official,"
"You wouldn't dare!" he said, mock gasping with a hand over his heart as if he had been physically hurt by the comment. "Katy Perry should not be banned anywhere. I'll stage a protest right here in your living room if something like that happens. Complete with giant cupcakes and technicolor outfits and blue wigs and rainbows. It will be awesome," he said, quite proud of his idea. Actually, the more he thought about it, the funner it sounded. Maybe he could get Kurt to help him. Of course, he didn't like Katy Perry either. He very well may be on his own for this one...
"Oh, but you do, Blaine. Seriously, do we have to film you to convince you?"
"It's true. It was bad enough when the two of you were sharing looks before you got together, but now it's just disgusting. Seriously, it should not be legal for two people to be that cute all the time."
Blaine chuckled, knowing they weren't being completely serious. He had had to sit though many a double date when Wes, Jo, David and Lucy were all hanging out together. They had invited him so that he wouldn't feel left out, but it had made him feel like a third wheel. Now that he was with Kurt though, he was finally given the chance to know what it feels like to go out and date someone that you loved. Of course, they couldn't flaunt their relationship in public like most couples could do, but they made it work. "No David. Although I'm sure Kurt would get a kick out of it. I guess I've just been a little crazy since Kurt transferred back to McKinley. I don't get to see him everyday anymore and that's just weird..." he said sighing as he held the pillow David threw at him to his chest.
"Blaine. Contrary to popular belief, you don't get special privileges,"
The curly haired boy sighed and nodded his head. He understood where Wes was coming from. He had been taking advantage of the council a little bit because he was such close friends with them and he sang most of the solos. He shouldn't get any special privileges. "You're right. I'm sorry. I didn't mean anything by it. I just - " he sighed, "I won't text during rehearsal anymore. I know how important it is to you guys to win this competition. I don't want to jeopardize our chances," he said, smiling a little at Wes and David. Maybe he should just give them his phone at the beginning of rehearsal. At least then he wouldn't be tempted to text his amazing boyfriend. But, if some kind of emergency happened, he wanted to make sure he had his phone on him, so doing that wasn't really a good option.

"There's nothing to take back since it's the truth!"
"Do I seriously need to ban all talk of Katy Perry and N'Sync from this party? Because I have the authority to do that considering this is my house and I am the President. I can go get my gavel and make it official."
No! Wes couldn't do that. Well, David supposed he could, considering it was his house. And he took his job as president pretty seriously. David looked around for the gavel. He was pretty sure Wes did have it stashed somewhere and would bring it out when they were least expecting it.
"You wouldn't dare! "Katy Perry should not be banned anywhere. I'll stage a protest right here in your living room if something like that happens. Complete with giant cupcakes and technicolor outfits and blue wigs and rainbows. It will be awesome."
David looked at Blaine. Sad thing is he could actually picture him in a blue wig and a technicolor outfit. And it wasn't a pretty picture. Kurt would kill him if he ever caught Blaine dressed up like that. "Dude, really?" was all he could say to him.
"It's true. It was bad enough when the two of you were sharing looks before you got together, but now it's just disgusting. Seriously, it should not be legal for two people to be that cute all the time."
"No David. Although I'm sure Kurt would get a kick out of it. I guess I've just been a little crazy since Kurt transferred back to McKinley. I don't get to see him everyday anymore and that's just weird..."
David grinned. Although he was joking around with Blaine, he wasn't above actually filming him. And then using that film to blackmail him. But he had a point. Now that Kurt transferred back, he didn't see him everyday. He supposed that would be hard to take. He wouldn't know because he was used to that with Lucy. "Blaine, man, I understand. But think of it this way. Now you're just like me and Wes."
"Blaine. Look. We all love that you and Kurt finally got together. Really, we are. But you need to understand that rehearsals are for rehearsing and not texting your boyfriend about what type of scarf he's wearing. Seriously Blaine. David looked at Blaine and thought. Maybe they could compromise. It would have to be something good so that Blaine wouldn't text and wouldn't worry. This was going to be hard. "Well, Blaine, what about this? Text Kurt before rehearsals and tell him that you will be rehearsing. If Kurt really needs to get in touch with you he can text or call one of the council."

"There's nothing to take back since it's the truth!"
"You wouldn't dare! Katy Perry should not be banned anywhere. I'll stage a protest right here in your living room if something like that happens. Complete with giant cupcakes and technicolor outfits and blue wigs and rainbows. It will be awesome."
Oh yeah. That want ad was definitely going in the paper tomorrow. He needed new best friends. He raised an eyebrow at Blaine, not even remotely trying to hide the fact that he was judging him. Giant cupcakes and rainbows? Seriously? Why was he friends with him again? Oh right. Because he had natural stage presence and was going to carry the Warblers to victory. Right. "You will not get past the front door Anderson. I'll change the locks. And no one will recognize you in a blue wig so they won't let you in," he said jokingly. He knew Blaine would never resort to something like that unless something major happened. And then he wouldn't be able to pull it off by himself.
"You're right. I'm sorry. I didn't mean anything by it. I just - I won't text during rehearsal anymore. I know how important it is to you guys to win this competition. I don't want to jeopardize our chances."
"Blaine, man, I understand. But think of it this way. Now you're just like me and Wes."
Wes sighed. When Blaine put it that way, he made the council sound like the bad guys. They only wanted Blaine to pay more attention during rehearsals. Was that really so much to ask? He nodded at David. He was right. Jo and Lucy went to their sister school and while it was closer to Dalton than McKinley was, it was far enough away that they didn't see their girlfriends everyday. "It's true. It's hard not being able to see Jo everyday, but we make it work. I'm sure you and Kurt can do the same thing." Wes didn't know what Blaine and Kurt texted about all the freaking time, but he wasn't going to ask Blaine about it. He probably didn't want to know. All he did know was that if he were to text Jo that often, he would probably get a lecture about how he should be studying or focusing on rehearsal or something. And he knew for a fact the two boys talked on the phone every night. What could they possibly still have to say to one another?
"Well, Blaine, what about this? Text Kurt before rehearsals and tell him that you will be rehearsing. If Kurt really needs to get in touch with you he can text or call one of the council."
Wes listened to David's compromise. It sounded reasonable enough to him. There would be no texting during rehearsal and they would have the full attention of their lead soloist. "I like that plan. Everyone wins this way." Well, Blaine still wouldn't be able to text Kurt during rehearsal, but that was about it. Everyone else wins. Wes did still feel a little bad. Blaine looked like a kicked puppy when he was sad. But it was a sacrifice they were going to have to make. He was sure Kurt needed to practice with New Directions anyways.

"Dude, really?"
"You will not get past the front door Anderson. I'll change the locks. And no one will recognize you in a blue wig so they won't let you in,"
Blaine laughed a little. Were they seriously surprised? They knew how much he loved the pop princess..."Well I am gay. It shouldn't be that surprising," he said, laughing more. He was sure plenty of straight guys liked Katy Perry, but for now he was going to chalk it up to a gay thing. Wes and David knew he was joking anyways. "And I would so find a way to get in. Your mom loves me. And if she wasn't home, I'd climb through a window or something. Or David could let me in," he said with a smirk in David's direction.
"Blaine, man, I understand. But think of it this way. Now you're just like me and Wes."
"It's true. It's hard not being able to see Jo everyday, but we make it work. I'm sure you and Kurt can do the same thing."
That was true. Blaine had never thought of it that way. Now he was just like every other guy at Dalton who had a girlfriend. None of them got to see their significant other the other day. So in a way, Blaine had almost been spoiled getting to walk down the hallway hand in hand with him and sneaking kisses when no one was looking. "You're right. God, I must sound pretty pathetic. Sorry guys. But in my defense, McKinley is farther away than Crawford is..."
"Well, Blaine, what about this? Text Kurt before rehearsals and tell him that you will be rehearsing. If Kurt really needs to get in touch with you he can text or call one of the council."
"I like that plan. Everyone wins this way."
Blaine nodded. That sounded reasonable. He supposed he could go through rehearsal without texting Kurt. "I think I can do that. I don't have to be texting him all the time," he said, opening and reading a text from Kurt. This wasn't a rehearsal, so it totally didn't count.
