"Right. Butt cheeks. Got it."
Brittany giggled and watched as Blaine attempted the jump again. It was better. He didn't fall this time. Although he didn't look graceful either. But it was a step in the right direction. "See?" Brittany said. "Butt cheeks work." Every time Brittany had trouble with a move or a jump, which wasn't that often, she always squeezed her butt cheeks. It helped all the time. If she couldn't do the move before, she squeezed her butt cheeks, and she was able to do it. She didn't know why, she just knew it worked.
"That's great Brittany. And I think she knows that. Sometimes these things just take time, which isn't very fun. But I know when the time is right, everything will fall into place."
Brittany smiled and felt a bit better. Blaine was right. When Santana was ready, and when the time was right for them, they would be together. Until then, Brittany would wait patiently. She was good at that. After all she waited patiently for all her classes to end so that she could go to Glee Club where, if she didn't understand some things, she at least understood one thing. The Glee Club was her family. "Yeah, you're right. Things usually do fall into place."

"See? Butt cheeks work."
Blaine laughed and nodded at the girl. It was a strange thing to say and think about, but it was true. "You're right. I shouldn't have doubted you. How's this?" he said, trying the move again, squeezing his butt cheeks together. It actually did help. He did look better than what he had done before. And he was still standing, so that was always a good thing. Maybe he could actually do this roller skating and dancing at the same time thing. He hoped that with Brittany as his teacher, he would be able to learn something that didn't look awful. He would have to take Kurt here another time and show him.
"Yeah, you're right. Things usually do fall into place."
He smiled at the girl. It sounded like his advice had helped her some. No one said being in a relationship was easy. "Yeah. I'm sure everything will be just fine. Did you ask her if she wanted to join your dance team?" he said, hoping to lighten the mood a little bit. They were here to skate, dance and have fun after all.

"You're right. I shouldn't have doubted you. How's this?"
Brittany watched as Blaine tried the jump again. This time he actually did it. It still didn't look as good as when Brittany did it. But it was a start. She clapped and smiled at the Warbler. She knew he could teach him. "That's so much better," she said happily. Brittany was getting more excited about her roller dancing team. If she could get Mike and maybe Tina to join they would be unstoppable.
"Yeah. I'm sure everything will be just fine. Did you ask her if she wanted to join your dance team?"
Brittany shook her head slightly. She never actually asked Santana to join. She was kind of hoping the girl would want to join and ask Brittany if she could. She thought she had mentioned it to her though. Maybe. If she remembered. Okay, so she didn't actually remember telling Santana about the team, but she had to know about it, right? "I didn't ask. But I thought I told her...maybe. I don't really remember," she confessed. Sometimes Brittany forgot things. But it wasn't her fault. She remembered all the important things.

"That's so much better,"
Blaine grinned, becoming more and more confident with his roller skating skills. Maybe this roller skating dance team wasn't such a bad idea after all. He still wasn't going to tell Wes and David about it though. "I think I'm getting the hang of it. What other moves can you show me?" he asked, getting a little excited. Maybe this whole thing was a lot easier than he thought.
"I didn't ask. But I thought I told her...maybe. I don't really remember,"
He smiled a little and nodded as they skated around the rink. "Well you could always ask her again. I'm sure she would join if she knew how important this is to you," he said, knowing that he would do the same thing for Kurt if he ever asked him to do something similar.

"I think I'm getting the hang of it. What other moves can you show me?"
Brittany tilted her head and thought. There was so much she could teach him. But he wasn't ready for a lot of it. They were all advanced moves. He would probably be able to do them if he weren't on roller skates. But since the case was that he was on roller skates, the lessons were slowed down a bit. "Well, you could try a simple leap," she suggested. Then to demonstrate she picked up a little bit of speed and leaped into the air. It was as graceful as a gazelle leaping through the Serengeti. Of course Brittany didn't know what a gazelle was, or what the Serengeti was. She just knew she looked good.
"Well you could always ask her again. I'm sure she would join if she knew how important this is to you."
Brittany smiled and nodded. She could do that. Santana was sure to understand. With two hot girls like herself and Santana on the team, they couldn't lose. It was a sure thing. "You're right. I'll ask her the next time I see her," she said with a smile on her lips. She was really glad she ran into Blaine here. She got the first member of her team and gained a new friend who understood her. Best part is Blaine didn't call her stupid or roll his eyes when Brittany spoke. He didn't even speak to her as if she were a child, which is what most adults usually did. Blaine spoke to her as if she were on the same level as him. It was a really refreshing feeling.

"Well, you could try a simple leap,"
A leap. Okay. He could probably mention that. She did say it was simple after all. And then he watched her leap through the air gracefully and land perfectly on her skates. Okay. Yeah, so that didn't actually look as easy as it had sounded. There was no way he would be able to do that without falling on his ass. He had a feel that he would be buying pads to wear so that he wouldn't get hurt so easily next time. "You look amazing Brittany, but something tells me that I'm not going to be able to do that," he said, frowning a little.
"You're right. I'll ask her the next time I see her,"
He nodded, smiling. He was sure Santana would join if Brittany asked her to do it. "And after Santana joins, we will have three members. I wonder if anyone else would want to join," he wondered aloud.

"You look amazing Brittany, but something tells me that I'm not going to be able to do that."
Brittany frowned slightly and tilted her head to the side. She supposed a leap might be a little advanced to someone who hasn't done much dancing, let alone dancing on skates. Brittany skated around a bit as she thought. She even did a little spin. She really liked spinning. Brittany never got dizzy. She knew what to do to prevent dizziness. Then it hit her. A spin! She bet she could explain that to Blaine. "If you can't leap, try a spin." She demonstrated it once more. "It's super easy, and all your feet get to stay on the ground," she smiled.
"And after Santana joins, we will have three members. I wonder if anyone else would want to join."
Brittany's eyes lit up. A third member! And best of all it would be Santana. Brittany couldn't wait to tell the other girl about it. Her dream was coming true. Maybe she could even convince Mr. Schue to let her roller dance team perform with New Directions. She looked around at the others skating. "Maybe some of these people want to join..." she said.
