"Why yes of course you can!"
Blaine laughed at Brittany's little curtsey. It was adorable and reminded him of a Disney movie or something. Brittany was certainly cute and sweet enough to be one of those princesses that was for sure.
He followed her out to the rink and began skating along side her. He wasn't as graceful as Brittany was, but he was keeping up okay.
"I look amazing with everybody. You see, it doesn't matter who you skate with. If you have fun with that person, then you look amazing."
Blaine smiled a little and thought about skating with Kurt. He seriously doubted everyone would feel the same way as Brittany thought. Some people just weren't ready to be accepting. He shook those thoughts away, not wanting to get sad in front of Brittany. They were supposed to be having fun. "You're right. And that explains why you always look so great when you're out there dancing with New Directions. Have you ever choreographed the dance routines?" he asked curiously.

"You're right. And that explains why you always look so great when you're out there dancing with New Directions. Have you ever choreographed the dance routines?"
Brittany turned and skated backwards, facing Blaine. She cocked her head to the side. Dancing was the one thing she fully understood and knew how to do. Of course she didn't know all of the technical terms. But once she understood what people wanted her to do, Brittany did the move flawlessly. Once she had even done the "Single Ladies" dance with Kurt. She learned the dance just from watching the music video.
It was because of this fact that Brittany wondered why Blaine had chosen this moment to talk about math. She understood nothing about math. Most people knew that about her. She was flattered that Blaine thought she was good at something besides dancing. But she decided that she should set him straight.
"No, I don't get choreography. Math confuses me. Plus it was either study math or take care of my pet squirrel. Chicko won."

"No, I don't get choreography. Math confuses me. Plus it was either study math or take care of my pet squirrel. Chicko won."
Wait, what? Didn't she know that choreography was - oh wait. This was Brittany. The very Brittany who still believed in Santa Claus and thought she was pregnant because a bird she thought was a stork was building a nest outside her window.
So, instead of trying to figure out Brittany's logic, he chuckled lightly, greatly amused by the girl. He didn't think she was stupid by any means. She just got confused sometimes and looked at the world differently than a lot of people. She looked at it in a much kinder, more accepting way and didn't judge people. The best part about this was that the girl didn't even realize she did it. It was just simply how things were supposed to be.
"I didn't know you had a pet squirrel. I just thought you had your cat. How is he by the way?" he asked, skating with Brittany, trying to look as graceful as the girl.

"I didn't know you had a pet squirrel. I just thought you had your cat. How is he by the way?"
Brittany's eyes lit up even more at the mention of her cat, Lord Tubbington. Lord Tubbington was, true to his name, fat. Very fat. But Brittany didn't think that was a bad thing. In fact, it was okay for him to eat people food. She let him do it all the time. He especially loved it when she filmed her web show, "Fondue For 2." She would let him eat the melted cheese right out of the fondue pot. The cheese would get stuck in his whiskers. He was very cute when he was seen trying to lick them clean. Come to think of it, she was due to release another episode. Lord Tubbington had been asking her to do another one, but she hadn't had anyone to interview.
Then she suddenly had an idea. Why not interview Blaine Warbler? It was perfect. He was a member of another glee club. And his glee club was cool. It would probably benefit her and the others in some way.
Wait...Blaine had just asked her a question, didn't he? Did he? What had he asked? Oh right. He asked her about her cat, which was a very sweet question to ask. She smiled as she answered him. "He's doing well, aside from the smoking. Got any tips on how to get a cat to stop smoking?" Before Blaine could answer, she added, "hey, do you want to be on my web show?"

"He's doing well, aside from the smoking. Got any tips on how to get a cat to stop smoking?"
Blaine laughed a bit and shook his head. He wasn't used to random conversations like this. Okay, some of the Warblers could be random sometimes and they had movie nights and sometimes geeked out over things like Star Trek and comics. But Brittany was different. She just was purely herself and what seemed like nonsense to everyone else, made perfect sense to her. She just inspired creativity. "Well," he pondered over his words before replying. This had to make sense to Brittany. "You could try maybe talking to him about it? Or maybe showing him some pamphlets or making a card about how you want him to stop?" He hoped one of those suggestions would please the girl. He really hoped her cat didn't actually smoke. Because while that would be kind of incredible, it would also be really bad for the animal.
"hey, do you want to be on my web show?"
He continued skating, getting used to gliding on the wheels of his skates. A web show? Didn't Kurt mention something about that? It sounded kind of familiar but he couldn't remember. "Sure, that sounds like fun. What kind of show is it?" he asked, smiling. It was just a internet show, there couldn't be anything bad about that right?

"You could try maybe talking to him about it? Or maybe showing him some pamphlets or making a card about how you want him to stop?"
Brittany skated along gracefully and listened to Blaine Warbler's advice. Well, she had tried talking to Lord Tubbington, of course. He just turned his head away from her. He never listened. He thought that he knew best. And it hurt Brittany because she only wanted to help him. She supposed she could show him pamphlets. But it probably wouldn't help at all. Then the last part of Blaine's sentence fell on her ears. A card! It was perfect. She was sure that Lord Tubbington would listen to her then, if he knew how concerned she was for him. Brittany jumped up and down, while skating. And she looked very graceful while doing it. "Oh Blaine Warbler that's perfect! I'll start working on it right when I get home."
"Sure, that sounds like fun. What kind of show is it?"
Brittany smiled. She loved talking about her web show. It was the most watched show at McKinley High. Or, if it wasn't, it should be. And with a guest like Blaine Warbler, her viewing audience was sure to sky rocket. "It's called Fondue for 2!" she explained in her adorable, excitable way. "It's a show where we talk and eat fondue. It's pretty popular." Things that she said on her show, made their way to the school newspaper before. Like the thing about Santana playing for the other team. She had meant that Santana used to be a cheerio and was now in glee club. But apparently everyone else thought she meant something else. Honestly, how that could have been misunderstood, she wasn't sure.
Brittany was so excited about the possibility of a new episode that she spun around in a circle as she skated. She carefully avoided hitting anyone. It was really easy. All you had to do was see yourself doing something in your mind, and you did it. She couldn't understand why Finn couldn't dance...at all.

"Oh Blaine Warbler that's perfect! I'll start working on it right when I get home."
Blaine smiled at Brittany, glad that he could cheer her up about her cat at least. It was obvious that she cared a lot about the animal, she even treated it like it was an actual person. And - woah. Did she really just jump up and down while skating? And she didn't fall on her ass? That was impressive. "I'm glad I could help Brittany. You will have to let me know if it helps at all," he said, watching her skate. "Now, how did you do that jumping while skating thing without falling? If I did that, I know I would fall on my butt and make a fool of myself," and Blaine didn't want that. He was bullied all through his old school and because of that, he was sort of paranoid about people making fun of him. He didn't like to be the center of attention unless it was on stage performing. He knew he could rock a performance.
"It's called Fondue for 2! It's a show where we talk and eat fondue. It's pretty popular."
He blinked at the girl, tilting his head to the side and squinting his eyes a bit. How did a show like that become pretty popular? Seriously, sometimes McKinley High School seemed like another world. He didn't know how Kurt handled it. "Oh. Yeah. I think Kurt mentioned something about that. It sounds pretty interesting. Who all have you had on the show?" he asked, trying to figure out what this web show was all about.

"I'm glad I could help Brittany. You will have to let me know if it helps at all. "Now, how did you do that jumping while skating thing without falling? If I did that, I know I would fall on my butt and make a fool of myself."
Brittany did a little twirl. She smiled at Blaine. Dancing was super easy. Anyone could be a great dancer with time and practice. Well, except for maybe Finn. Finn was kind of a giant though. He was too tall to dance. "All you do is jump," she said simply. Dancing was the simplest thing in the world to Brittany. Which was good. She didn't want dancing to confuse her. It was the only thing she was good at. Everything else was way too confusing.
"Oh. Yeah. I think Kurt mentioned something about that. It sounds pretty interesting. Who all have you had on the show?"
She thought back on all the shows she had done. There was the one where she said Santana played for the other team. Brittany meant that Santana used to be on the Cheerios. Everyone else took that to mean something else though. Brittany didn't like that. She didn't like people being mean to Santana and she didn't like Santana being mad at her, especially when she didn't know why. "Well, the first one was with Mercedes and Tina. They're the biggest gossips in the school. They seemed kinda freaked out when Lord Tubbington started eating the melted cheese. He only eats people food," she added. "Another one was supposed to be Santana...but she sent a text that just said 'I can't.'" It was clear that Brittany was still sad at that loss of Santana. Not just losing her chance to interview the girl. It was much more than that. She was sad that she couldn't ask her to Prom. That was what that show was supposed to be. But Santana backed out at the last minute, so she couldn't go to Prom with her. "So...I interviewed Lord Tubbington, instead."

"All you do is jump,"
Just...jump. Right...Okay that sounded way too easy. If it was really that easy then he was sure more people would be jumping around on skates and they would be on roller skating dance teams. "Really? That sounds too easy..." he said, wondering if he should take the blonde girl's advice and just jump. This sounded like a bad plan in his head. He was just glad Wes and David weren't here with a recording device of some kind.
"Well, the first one was with Mercedes and Tina. They're the biggest gossips in the school. They seemed kinda freaked out when Lord Tubbington started eating the melted cheese. He only eats people food,"
Oh. Well. That explained a few things. Mainly why the cat was so, well, big. He made a mental note to ask Mercedes about this interview later. Or, better yet, to look up the youtube video on his laptop later. He was sure it would be pretty easy to find.
"Another one was supposed to be Santana...but she sent a text that just said 'I can't.' So...I interviewed Lord Tubbington, instead."
It was obvious Brittany was sad about Santana not being able to make her show. Blaine might not have known the exact reason why the Latina couldn't make it, but he did have his own suspicions. "I'm sure she had a good reason for not being able to make it Brittany. It's obvious you and Santana care a lot about each other," he said, trying to make the girl feel better. He gave Brittany a weird look when she said she interviewed her cat though. He shouldn't have been surprised, but still. That had to be either an extremely interesting interview or an extremely boring one. "Well, I'm sure he gave you a great interview. Considering you toe are so close and all," he said, smiling a little. He could only imagine what sort of questions Brittany would ask him when he came on her show. He just prayed Wes and David never found the video.

"Really? That sounds too easy..."
Brittany demonstrated the jumping again. Then she threw in a leap and a twirl. It was all very easy. But maybe she should start the Warbler out on something easy, like twirling. That wasn't so hard. Anyone could do it. She was even sure she'd be able to teach Finn.
"I'm sure she had a good reason for not being able to make it Brittany. It's obvious you and Santana care a lot about each other."
Brittany nodded sadly. She really loved Santana. And Santana loved her. She was the only one to really understand Brittany. She understood why Santana had said no, she thought. The world just wasn't ready for them. Well, that was the world's loss. "I love her," she said simply, in response to Blaine's statement.
"Well, I'm sure he gave you a great interview. Considering you two are so close and all."
Brittany smiled and nodded. Oh, they were very close. Which was why Lord Tubbington was so resistant to her pleads about his smoking. He didn't want to admit that his smoking was hurting more than just him. But with Blaine's card idea, she was sure that she could get through.

Brittany demonstrated the jump and twirl combo again and yep. That didn't look any easier than when she had demonstrated the first time. Brittany was an amazing dancer, and Blaine liked to say he could dance, but he knew that he was one of the main reasons the Warblers didn't have that much elaborate choreography. He sighed, knowing that this was going to end badly and was probably going to hurt.
He jumped and attempted to twirl, trying to copy Brittany. But just like he thought, his body twisted and his skate slipped out from under him when he landed, causing the dark haired boy to fall on his back. "Easier said then done," he said, trying to laugh it off. Yeah, that was probably going to bruise.
"I love her,"
Blaine smiled at the girl. He knew that the two girls cared for each other. "That's really great Brittany. Have you told her? Do you know if she feels the same way about you?" he asked as he grabbed onto the wall so that he could get off of the floor.

"Easier said then done."
Brittany laughed as she watched as Blaine attempted the jump and twirl. And then proceeded to fall flat on his back. Well, that was something that Brittany would have to teach him. She was sure with her coaching, Blaine would be able to do it in no time. Brittany had after all made up and taught a dance, along with Mike, that one them sectionals the first year they went. And if she could teach Finn, she could teach anyone that wanted to learn.
"That's really great Brittany. Have you told her? Do you know if she feels the same way about you?"
Brittany nodded. Santana definitely knew how she felt. And she felt the same as Brittany. But Santana wasn't ready to tell everyone. It was all very confusing for Brittany. There was one time where Santana really wanted to be with her. But Brittany had been dating Artie and she didn't want to hurt him, because she cared about him too. But then, Artie hurt her beyond what she thought possible. She thought Artie was different than everyone else. He never called her "stupid." But then, one day he did. It was all too much for Brittany, and she broke up with him. He tried getting her back, but she just couldn't do it. She wanted to be with Santana now. But now Santana was with Karofsky and it was just so confusing. "She said she loved me and wanted to be with me...but now she's with Karofsky. It's really confusing..." Brittany wasn't entirely sure why she was telling Blaine all of this. It was just that she felt Blaine was trust worthy. She was sure that he wouldn't tell anyone, and he definitely wouldn't make fun of her and Santana, because he was gay like Kurt. Besides Brittany didn't really have anyone else to talk about this with. Blaine was just so nice.

Blaine shook his head, a little embarrassed since he had just fallen pretty epically. Where was the guy with the camera and the instant replay? He sighed and grabbed onto the railing and carefully lifted himself off the floor. It was hard because his feet kept rolling away from him, but he managed eventually. "Maybe this wasn't such a good idea Brittany..." he said, watching little kids practically skate circles around him. Why had he ever thought roller skating was a good idea for a date? Oh. Right. Because there wasn't a whole lot of places to go in Lima, Ohio. They should have just gone bowling instead. Kurt would have complained about the shoes, but at least Blaine wouldn't have fallen flat on his back and made a fool of himself.
"She said she loved me and wanted to be with me...but now she's with Karofsky. It's really confusing..."
He nodded his head at the girl. Blaine could understand why Santana was having trouble with this. And he already knew about Karofsky. It was obvious now to him that they were being each others' beard, but only Kurt, Santana and himself knew that Karofsky was even gay. Blaine still didn't like to think that Dave Karofsky, the boy who had tormented Kurt and even threatened to kill him was gay. He was seriously worried when Kurt transferred back to McKinley. Yeah Dave and Santana had started that Bully Whips thing, but who knew how long that was going to last. And Santana and Dave couldn't be everywhere at once. Blaine hated that his boyfriend was going back to an environment that was potentially unsafe and slushie-inducing. He also hated that he was two whole hours away from him. If something had ever happened and Kurt needed him, be wouldn't be able to get to him for two hours. Maybe an hour and a half if he speeded. It was this thought that had made him literally carry his phone everywhere he went after Kurt transferred. Sure, some of the Warblers poked fun at him for it, but Blaine didn't mind as long as he knew that his boyfriend was safe.
"I know it is. Some people just have a hard time coming to terms with something like this. But, I think it will be easier if she knows that she has your support and that you will be there for her," he said, vaguely reminded of when he confronted Karofsky with Kurt after Dave had forcibly kissed Kurt. He had basically told him the same thing, but Dave was no way close to coming out. Since then, from what Kurt had told him, Blaine could see that Karofsky might be getting closer to making that decision, but with this whole 'dating' Santana thing it was hard to be sure.

"Maybe this wasn't such a good idea Brittany..."
Brittany laughed a little more as the Warbler got up. He really was uncoordinated. And he couldn't really dance. But Brittany still believed that she could teach him to dance. She demonstrated again and explained what her body did before during and after the jump. She explained it like she would a child, because Brittany was like a child. It was part of what made her endearing to so many people. "It also helps if you squeeze your butt cheeks together," she added with a chuckle. In a lot of dance moves squeezing your butt cheeks seemed to help a lot. It was very strange, but that was the way it worked. And you get get a toned butt out of it, if their was such a thing.
"I know it is. Some people just have a hard time coming to terms with something like this. But, I think it will be easier if she knows that she has your support and that you will be there for her."
Brittany nodded and smiled a little. She would be there for Santana, that was for sure. And when Santana was ready, Brittany would be there. She would always be there for Santana, no matter what decision the girl made about anything. "I'll always be there for her," she said thinking about the dark haired Latina. She was the most amazing person that the blonde knew.

Blaine nodded and watched as Brittany explained the moves better and slowed it down for him. He didn't exactly appreciate being talked to like he was a child, but this was Brittany. She seemed to be the exception to a lot of things.
"It also helps if you squeeze your butt cheeks together,"
He laughed and blushed a little bit as he shook his head. Brittany was truly one of a kind that was for sure. "Right. Butt cheeks. Got it," he said, smiling a little as he attempted the move once again. He didn't fall this time, which he thought was an accomplishment in itself, but he still didn't look as graceful as the girl did.
"I'll always be there for her,"
Blaine smiled at the girl. She said strange things sometimes, but when it came to emotional stuff, she seemed to understand. "That's great Brittany. And I think she knows that. Sometimes these things just take time, which isn't very fun. But I know when the time is right, everything will fall into place," he said thinking about his and Kurt's relationship. That had certainly taken time to fall into place. Blaine still couldn't believe how much of an idiot he was for not realizing his feelings for Kurt sooner. He couldn't imagine what Kurt had to go through for that long with him liking Blaine and not having his feelings returned. And then with the fiasco that was the 'Gap Attack' on Valentine's Day...had Blaine mentioned how much of an idiot he had been?
