Conner continued his wander around what would be his new school this up coming fall. Big, fancy, uniforms, full of rich kids. This place was defiantly not him at all. Amber had wanted him to go here for the longest time and after his suspension he had no choice. Amber's father was paying for his year here so he really couldn't mess up here. He noticed a piano and sat down at its bench. He started to gently play the keys. He was the rough and tough type but one of the more creative skills he had was playing a piano. It was relaxing and nice for a start. "Desperado, why don't you come to your senses? You been out ridin' fences for so long nowOh, you're a hard one I know that you got your reasons These things that are pleasin' you Can hurt you somehow
Don't you draw the queen of diamonds, boy She'll beat you if she's able You know the queen of hearts is always your best bet
Now it seems to me, some fine things Have been laid upon your table But you only want the ones that you can't get
Desperado, oh, you ain't gettin' no younger Your pain and your hunger, they're drivin' you home And freedom, oh freedom well, that's just some people talkin' Your prison is walking through this world all alone
Don't your feet get cold in the winter time? The sky won't snow and the sun won't shine It's hard to tell the night time from the day You're losin' all your highs and lows Ain't it funny how the feeling goes away?
Desperado, why don't you come to your senses? Come down from your fences, open the gate It may be rainin', but there's a rainbow above you You better let somebody love you, before it's too late"

Blaine walked along the hallway, happy to be done with his exams for that day. There were only a couple days of school left before the best summer ever started. He would get to spend his entire summer with Kurt, and he couldn't be more excited. Three more exams to go.
He sent Kurt a quick text as he passed the Warbler's hall. There was someone singing and playing the piano and - wait. They didn't have Warblers rehearsal today. The Warblers weren't performing until the graduation ceremony and they had already rehearsed the song that they were singing so that all of them could focus on studying for exams. So, who was playing the piano?
He wandered into the room and saw the guy playing. He didn't recognize him at all. He wasn't even wearing his Dalton uniform. Who was this guy? Dalton had exams today and everyone took those really seriously. He knew some people that had been studying already for the past two weeks. He was even meeting Wes and David later to study.
The guy finished the song and Blaine clapped his hands a few times. "That was pretty good. I don't think I've ever seen you around here though. Seems you like to stand out since you're not wearing your uniform," he said, smiling a little, jokingly.

Conner nearly had a heart attack when he heard Blaine speak. He thought this hall had been vacant so that people could study of exams or something like that. He really didn't expect to have anyone listen to him sing while he was visiting his future school. He really wasn't sure who this guy was but he could see Conner sweat at all. He looked up at the young man and smirked. "Thanks for thinking so." He stood up and stepped away from the table. "I'm checking out the school cause I'm coming here next year. Though I have been known to be quite the rebel."

Oh, okay. So he was a future Dalton student. That explained why he had never seen him before and why he was out of uniform. "Your welcome. Dalton's a great school. What do you think of it so far?" he asked. Dalton had been Blaine's sanctuary from his old school where he had been bullied and mocked, eventually leading to him getting the crap beat out of him at a school dance. Blaine felt like he could really fit in at Dalton. He wasn't judged about who he was, and he could enjoy his love of music with the Warblers and make friends with people like Wes and David. He hoped that this guy would feel the same amount of love that Blaine had for the school.
"I'm Blaine," he said, extending a hand for the boy to shake. "I'd be happy to answer any questions you may have about the school," he said, smiling. He knew Dalton was way different that public schools. It had taken him a while to adjust and he had helped Kurt adjust when he had been here for those few months. He was sure that this kid would be able to adjust as well.

"Your welcome. Dalton's a great school. What do you think of it so far?"
Conner looked around the room for a second as if he was assessing the the entire school from just this one room. "Its big, its fancy, I feel like if I break something I'll spend my life paying the school back. The teachers seem more like professors, I feel way to poor to be here and it smells really nice. But the uniforms are swank." He said grabbing the lapel Blaine's jacket. "And yall have nice pianos."
"I'm Blaine, I'd be happy to answer any questions you may have about the school,"
Conner shook the boys extended hand and smiled widely. "Conner Micheals, and I've only got one question. What the you guys do for fun up here?" He said with a smirk.
