Kurt is simply an everyday gay teen. He is sweet down to his core and follows his heart. He is constantly dressing in things that define him, and well look fabulous. He gets a lot of his courage from his dad and now his boyfriend Blaine. He can be discouraged but he is strong and never shaken from his dreams.
History:
In the pilot episode it is revealed that Kurt's mother died when he was young and that he has lived alone with his father Burt ever since. Kurt auditions for the glee club by performing "Mr. Cellophane" from the musical Chicago. Kurt has a high range and is vocally talented. Kurt comes out as gay to fellow glee club member Mercedes in "Acafellas" and the two become close friends. Until this point Kurt has tried to hide his sexual orientation from everyone, including his father who has used bribes to discourage some of Kurt's more feminine habits. In the following episode, "Preggers", Kurt joins the school football team as a kicker, in order to impress his father, and helps the failing team win a game by performing the choreography to "Single Ladies" by Beyonce. That night Kurt come out to his father. Burt surprisingly responds with acceptance, having already guessed that his son is gay. Kurt quits the football team in "Mash-Up", when Coach Tanaka forces the glee club members of the team to choose between the club and the team.
Kurt competes against glee club captain Rachel Berry for a solo on "Defying Gravity", but intentionally throws the high F note to lose the competition, in order to save his father from being harassed over his sexuality.[46] It is revealed in the episode "Ballad" that Kurt has a crush on Finn and hopes that, if Finn breaks up with Quinn, he will turn to Kurt for comfort. He is aware that Rachel also has feelings for Finn and attempts to sabotage her chances with him by giving her a bad makeover.[48] In "The Power of Madonna" Kurt and Mercedes join the school cheerleading squad, the Cheerios. In the following episode, "Home", Kurt reveals that several months previously he had got his father and Finn's mother together in an attempt to become closer to Finn, but Finn is not immediately happy with the match. Soon, however, Finn starts to find common ground with Burt, and Kurt becomes jealous of their growing father-son bond. He attempts to gain acceptance from his father by mimicking him and dressing with more masculinity, as well as kissing and insinuating a sexual relationship with cheerleader and glee club member Brittany Pierce (Heather Morris). In the episode "Theatricality" Burt invites Finn and his mother to move in, but Finn is reluctant to share a room with Kurt. Kurt redecorates their room more effeminately and Finn frustratedly calls several of the new items "faggy". Burt overhears the insults and angrily berates Finn for his insensitivity. At the end of the episode, when two large, aggressive football players intimidate Kurt, Finn shamelessly defends him and so redeems himself.
At the onset of the second season Burt suffers a heart attack and is comatose in the hospital, leaving Kurt terrified of losing him. When the glee club tries to sing religious songs to comfort Kurt he feels alienated, as he does not believe in God. Mercedes takes him to her church where she dedicates the service to Burt. Burt eventually recovers and Kurt is put in charge of his well-being. In the episode "Duets" Kurt attempts to determine the sexuality of a new glee recruit Sam Evans but, after talking with his dad and Finn, he breaks off the plan. He later performs a "duet" with himself: "Le Jazz Hot!" from Victor/Victoria. Rachel notices how lonely and unhappy Kurt appears to be and tells him that he is not alone and that the entire glee club loves and supports him. The two then sing a duet of "Get Happy"/"Happy Days Are Here Again" for the club. In "Never Been Kissed" Kurt goes to spy on the Dalton Academy glee club—New Directions' competition for sectionals—and meets gay student Blaine Anderson. Kurt tells Blaine that he is being bullied and Blaine convinces him to stand up for himself. When school bully Dave Karofsky shoves Kurt against his locker, Kurt confronts him in the locker room. Karofsky becomes visibly upset and abruptly kisses Kurt before running away, leaving Kurt in shock.[51] Karofsky later threatens to kill Kurt if he ever reveals Karofsky's actions. Burt and Carole decide to spend the money they had saved for a honeymoon on tuition for Dalton Academy, which has a zero-tolerance bullying policy. Kurt develops feelings for the Warblers captain Blaine Anderson, who happens to be gay. Blaine eventually reciprocates the feelings and they kiss in "Original Song".[52] Kurt transfers back to McKinley in "Born This Way" after Karofsky assures Kurt that he regrets the earlier threats.[53] Kurt invites Blaine as his date to the junior prom in "Prom Queen", and Blaine accepts, despite having been a victim of violence when attending a school dance at his old school. At the prom, a horrified Kurt is voted prom queen while Karofsky is voted prom king. After running away in tears, Kurt pulls himself together and decides to own the moment and is crowned. Karofsky refuses the traditional dance with Kurt, but Blaine steps in to dance with him.
Short rp Sample (Preferably as the character you're applying for)
Deep breath, Take it easy, don’t stress, it’s an easy thing. Kurt’s continued to practice his breathing ritual, much like many performers before him have done. He was nervous and if the truth would be told a little scared. This could make his life for the better or for the worst. He was sick of feeling lonely and getting thrown into trash cans, its really really hard to clean dumpster diving outfits okay! Though doing this could possibly only make things worse for him…NO it this was the step he had to take to fulfilling his dreams! He took one last deep breath before stepping onto the stage, he had a quick thought of Finn Hudson to make his nerves slightly eased the stepped out to the stage. He looked out at the new director and smiled.
