"Well, Lima's not a very big town, so that's probably not a hard thing to do, but I'll take your word for it."
Finn chuckled at Blaine's statement. He did have a point though Lima wasn't a big city but he was sure the wings where awesome. "All right then I'll make it bigger and say they are the best in the county!"
"So, what do you usually get here?"
Finn began to look at the menu. "Well I normally get the Philly Cheese Steak, but when I'm with Burt we usually get like forty wings and split them." He looked back up at Blaine. Blaine still seemed down about the whole Kurt being gone thing. It had to be hard have your special person being two hours away. He knew Kurt missed Blaine a lot so he was sure that Blaine had to be missing Kurt two. He pulled out his phone and pushed a few buttons. He then grabbed Blaine and pulled him close. "Smile!" He said taking a picture. The then pushed a few more buttons then put his phone away.

"All right then I'll make it bigger and say they are the best in the county!"
Blaine laughed at that. "County, huh? Are you sure you want to make that declaration? There's probably a lot of other wing places here..." Even if these wings were amazing, Blaine had some serious doubts about them being the best in the country. This bar probably would be more popular if they in fact, were the best.
"Well I normally get the Philly Cheese Steak, but when I'm with Burt we usually get like forty wings and split them."
"Well," he said putting the menu down on the table. "I think I have to try some of these wings you keep bragging about. To see just how good they are," he said, smirking, as if he was saying, 'bring it on.' He would get a side of celery and carrot sticks as well. Kurt would approve of that at least.
"Smile!"
Blaine blinked in confusion as Finn pulled him towards him and took a picture. He barely had a chance to smile for the picture before it was taken and Finn was pushing buttons on his phone. "Uh, I don't mind you taking my picture Finn, but give a guy a little bit of a warning maybe?" he said, laughing. "I mean, what was that about?"

"County, huh? Are you sure you want to make that declaration? There's probably a lot of other wing places here..."
"Oh yeah! They are awesome." He said slightly exaggerating. He learned from Rachel that its not always a bad thing to go a little over the top. And a lot of the time she did it, it was kinda cute in a Rachel Berry only way.
"Well, I think I have to try some of these wings you keep bragging about. To see just how good they are,"
"Awesome man! How many can ya handle and how hot can you take'em?" He said as if proposing a challenge.
"Uh, I don't mind you taking my picture Finn, but give a guy a little bit of a warning maybe? I mean, what was that about?"
'Well we really don't have a good picture together do we? Plus I wanna show the New Directions that you were in town hanging out! Its not everyday we just get to see you in town." Finn laughed a little hoping that Kurt would text Blaine soon.

"Awesome man! How many can ya handle and how hot can you take'em?"
"Oh, I'd say about twenty or so, maybe medium heat? I usually don't like really spicy food. What about you?" he asked, wondering what Finn's tastes were.
"Well we really don't have a good picture together do we? Plus I wanna show the New Directions that you were in town hanging out! Its not everyday we just get to see you in town."
Right...this didn't sound suspicious at all. He had a feeling that this wasn't the real reason for the random picture taking. "Finn. I'm at your house hanging out like every chance I can. And that wasn't a very good picture, I'm sure we can take a better one-" he said as his text message ringtone went off in his pocket. He took his phone out and saw there was a text from Kurt. Oh. So that's what the picture was for. He grinned and typed a text back. "Showing New Directions that picture hm?" he said, laughing a bit, happy at least to be able to text his boyfriend if he couldn't hang out with him today.

"Oh, I'd say about twenty or so, maybe medium heat? I usually don't like really spicy food. What about you?"
"Well I normally eat medium or hot wings. I usually eat about twenty wings but I can eat more if I'm hungry." Or if puck was challenging him to an eat off but he was pretty sure that he wasn't going to have that problem with Blaine though. "So then why not get 40 medium and split the plate? I like celery with mine. How bout you?"
"Finn. I'm at your house hanging out like every chance I can. And that wasn't a very good picture, I'm sure we can take a better one-. Showing New Directions that picture hm?"
He saw Blaine look down at his phone and smile. Operation was a success! Maybe now he would stop moping around and have a good time! But he could understand how he felt, he had lonely feelings when it came to Rachel too. "I don't know it seemed to work pretty good." He opened up his phone and looked at the picture. "Yeah it works."

Blaine nodded his head at Finn in agreement. It was cool that they had similar tastes when it came to food. Well, that and when it came to sports. "Sounds pretty good," he said, waving over a waitress and ordering a coke to drink along with the wings and sides of celery and carrot sticks. He looked at Finn so that the taller boy could order a drink as well.
"I don't know it seemed to work pretty good. Yeah it works."
Blaine laughed a little, grateful that Finn would go out of his way and text Kurt like that. It showed he approved of Blaine dating his stepbrother and that meant a lot. Blaine really did envy Kurt's family sometimes. They were always so warm and welcoming and his just...weren't. He was just happy that they allowed him to be over at their house so often. "Yeah it does," he said, getting another text from Kurt and then texting him back. "So, how have things been going for you? Are you excited for this competition coming up? You guys are going right?" he asked curiously. Wes and David had told him about their run in with Rachel last week and he had wondered what the rest of the New Directions thought of the competition. The Warblers had been preparing for the competition off and on ever since they lost at Regionals. The council liked to be prepared and they were dead set on winning this year.

"Sounds pretty good."
Awesome they were at agreement when it came to the meal and he was sure they were gonna agree when it came to the music. Truth be told he and Finn got along in a lot of areas. When Kurt had talked about him he thought Blaine would be a lot more like Kurt, but he wasn't. In fact Blaine was like the perfect in between of Finn and Kurt; Maybe if there was a Finn/Kurt monster named Furt it would be Blaine! Blaine fit in perfectly with there family, it was really awesome. It was kind of perfect, cause he and Blaine had become good friends with the multiple times Blaine has come to visit and Rachel and Kurt were really good friends. It was the best thing that could happen with siblings and boyfriends or girlfriends.
"So, how have things been going for you? Are you excited for this competition coming up? You guys are going right?"
"Things have been pretty good this summer. Quin has been a little shut off and everyone else has been real busy so I haven't seen them much. Foot ball camp is coming and I'm really excited for that! Me, Puck, Artie and Mike are going right after the competition. I'm personally excited for it and I know Kurt and Rachel are too!" He hesitated for a moment. "We have to get a lot of money to go." He then turned the conversation. "What have you been up to? Are you guys excited?"
The waitress walked to the table ready to take the order. "Yeah we'll get fourty wings with medium sauce and a side of carrots and celery. And I'll have a sun drop with that."

Blaine nodded as Finn listed off what was going on with everyone. He didn't know Quinn as well as some of the other New Directions, but he had heard stories and he knew Finn had been going between her and Rachel. It all sounded pretty messy and it made him pretty glad that he was gay and didn't have to deal with all the girl drama. Blaine didn't even really have girl friends until this year and that was only because of Kurt. He had formed friendships with Rachel, Mercedes and Brittany and maybe even Santana (it was pretty hard to tell with her) but he didn't hang out with them a lot, only every once and a while. Blaine usually hung out with Wes and David when he wasn't with Kurt. Sometimes the two Warblers would bring their girlfriends Lucy and Jo with them and he would hang out with them.
Football however, he understood. "Cool! Are you guys going to win state again this year? You guys were pretty awesome at the game I went and saw. I still can't believe you guys mashed up "Thriller" with "Heads Will Roll." And those costumes and makeup...Theatricality at its finest," he said, smiling. It really had been an amazing performance. The Warbler would never have been able to pull of something like that. There were far too many traditions they would be breaking.
He frowned a little, wishing that McKinley funded their arts programs more. They had so much talent in their glee club and every time they had to travel somewhere, they had to raise the money because they had no budget. "I know. Which is why us Warbler guys are going to help you out. And plus, its more rehearsal for us anyways," he said, laughing a little. That and the whole experience would be really fun. It was really cool that the two groups would be working together. He wasn't sure if that had ever happened in Warbler history. He would have to ask David later.
"What have you been up to? Are you guys excited?"
"Well, you know I've been working at that theme park performing. It's pretty fun but its hot and it can get annoying when all these girls try to flirt with me. People don't realize I'm gay a lot of the time when they don't know me," he said, sighing a little. When people looked at him, they didn't think 'gay.' Kurt however was kind of obvious. Sometimes he wished it was the other way around. Maybe then it would be easier for his parents to be okay with him being gay.
"Yeah! We're pretty excited. We've been rehearsing off and on since Regionals. The council can get kind of intense sometimes. But we all really want to win this thing. You guys better bring it because we're pulling out all the stops!" he said, grinning. Blaine loved being a Warbler, and was honored that the council chose him so many times to lead the group. He hoped he wouldn't let them down.

. "Cool! Are you guys going to win state again this year? You guys were pretty awesome at the game I went and saw. I still can't believe you guys mashed up "Thriller" with "Heads Will Roll." And those costumes and makeup...Theatricality at its finest,"
"Well thanks." Finn said with a chuckle. "As long as we have coach and this coexistance attitude between the football players and the glee club both teams should be awesome! There is room at top for three winning teams at the school!" He was excited about this up coming season for both the Glee club and the football team! He felt like it was gonna be a great season! "Now imagine if the NFL teams preformed their own half time shows one year that the Superbowl! I think Madden would actually shut up about Bret Farv for about five seconds!" Finn said laughing to himself.
"I know. Which is why us Warbler guys are going to help you out. And plus, its more rehearsal for us anyways."
"Yeah I'm totally looking forward to that! It will nice to be seeing people that aren't competition or that hate you. I'm sure you guys don't really have that problem when you preform!" It was really gonna be nice to have an actual crowd that really wanted to see them.
"Well, you know I've been working at that theme park performing. It's pretty fun but its hot and it can get annoying when all these girls try to flirt with me. People don't realize I'm gay a lot of the time when they don't know me,"
Finn laughed. "Well If Kurt hadn't told me I would think that you were straight. Your not the stereotypical gay guy after all! Sometimes I wonder what its like to not being attracted to such a crazy gender. Women can be a real handful!" The said thinking about Quin and Rachel.
"Yeah! We're pretty excited. We've been rehearsing off and on since Regionals. The council can get kind of intense sometimes. But we all really want to win this thing. You guys better bring it because we're pulling out all the stops!"
"HA So long as we are around you guys will have to put up quite a fight! After all we do have Rachel AND Kurt. She much diva power the judges wont know what hit them. Plus I'm sure the summer fun will inspire a number of great things out of us!" He pointed at Blaine. "Look out man the New Directions are coming to take you out again!"

I think Madden would actually shut up about Bret Farv for about five seconds!"
"I'll have to be sure to make it out to a few games this season. Of course the half time show won't be as interesting. Cheerleaders in those short skirts don't really do anything for me," he said laughing a bit. He had heard Kurt had been a cheerleader for a little while last year. That was something that he would have been very interested in. "Now that would be something that I would pay to see," he said, laughing as he thought of NFL players performing their own half time shows. It would never happen, but it was fun to think about.
"Yeah I'm totally looking forward to that! It will nice to be seeing people that aren't competition or that hate you. I'm sure you guys don't really have that problem when you preform!"
"Yeah, we don't get that reaction at all. The Warblers are like rock stars at our school. And then we have alumni who support the Warblers and the school and a lot of the guys' girlfriends go to our sister school so a lot of them end up showing up as well. It's pretty cool," he said, shrugging a little like it was no big deal. He wished every glee club with talent could be treated the same, but that just wasn't going to happen.
"Well If Kurt hadn't told me I would think that you were straight. Your not the stereotypical gay guy after all! Sometimes I wonder what its like to not being attracted to such a crazy gender. Women can be a real handful!"
Blaine sighed, nodding a little. Finn proved his point. Sometimes him appearing straight worked to his advantage, but a lot of the time, it would be nice if girls didn't try to give him their numbers. "Oh I bet. I wouldn't really know, but from what I've heard, I'm glad that I'm gay!" he said laughing a bit. "But, Kurt does have his diva moments that you know about. He can be a challenge sometimes," he said, smirking a little. Blaine loved Kurt, but sometimes the diva attitude and his stubbornness made him hard to talk to. Their drinks were brought out and Blaine took a straw, took the wrapper off and put it in his drink before taking a sip.
"HA So long as we are around you guys will have to put up quite a fight! After all we do have Rachel AND Kurt. She much diva power the judges wont know what hit them. Plus I'm sure the summer fun will inspire a number of great things out of us! Look out man the New Directions are coming to take you out again!"
"Those sound like fighting words," Blaine added with a smirk. "Bring it on! The Warblers have really stepped up our game this year and we are not stopping now!" he said laughing. He knew Wes and David were dead set on winning this competition. They talked about it all the time. Blaine wanted to win, but he wasn't as competitive as his teammates were.

"How bout a girl ten feet in the air doing a back flip while twisting her body completely around? You gotta admit that that is kinda awesome!" He side pointing at Blaine with a smile.
"Now that would be something that I would pay to see,"
"Totally it would be like Remember The Titans! Or those crazy drink commercials with the lizards!" He laughed as the waitress gave them there drinks. "Maybe dropping it like the Sun Drop girl." He leaned in and talked in a lower voice. "Kurt hates her outfit. He will ramble about it even after the commercial is done."
"Yeah, we don't get that reaction at all. The Warblers are like rock stars at our school. And then we have alumni who support the Warblers and the school and a lot of the guys' girlfriends go to our sister school so a lot of them end up showing up as well. It's pretty cool,"
"Sounds cool, I wish he had half of the love that you guys have! We are more like lepers then Rock Stars." Finn kinda felt down but only for a moment.
"Oh I bet. I wouldn't really know, but from what I've heard, I'm glad that I'm gay! But, Kurt does have his diva moments that you know about. He can be a challenge sometimes,"
"I bet man! He can remind me of Rachel all the time." He rubbed his temples. "Its sometimes like having a brother and sister at the same time! Just be glad he doesn't have a monthly visit from Aunt Flow!"
"Those sound like fighting words, Bring it on! The Warblers have really stepped up our game this year and we are not stopping now!" "They better sound like fighting words! Cause they are! You can't handle none of this boy band! We got a secret weapon called Push It!!"

"How bout a girl ten feet in the air doing a back flip while twisting her body completely around? You gotta admit that that is kinda awesome!"
Blaine shrugged, thinking about that. "Yeah, I guess that's pretty cool. I can appreciate the athleticism about that," he says, taking another sip of his coke. The short skirts still did nothing for him though.
"Totally it would be like Remember The Titans! Or those crazy drink commercials with the lizards! Maybe dropping it like the Sun Drop girl. Kurt hates her outfit. He will ramble about it even after the commercial is done."
Blaine laughed a lot at that. "It's so true! That came on the other day when we were watching Project Runway and he just went off about it while I was laughing. I do agree about the outfit though. It is awful," he said, laughing more. Blaine didn't dress in as many designers as Kurt, but he still appreciated fashion. He had a subscription to Vogue magazine after all.
"Sounds cool, I wish he had half of the love that you guys have! We are more like lepers then Rock Stars."
"Yeah, that sucks man. I wish everyone had that. You guys totally deserve it. And I couldn't even imagine getting thrown in a dumpster or getting a slushie thrown in my face. Kurt says it's like getting bitch slapped by an iceberg and that does not sound appealing at all," he said, shaking his head. He didn't know how Kurt could put up with that abuse everyday. Yeah, he had been bullied at his old school, but before the Sadie Hawkins dance, it hadn't been so bad. Mostly name calling, getting shoved into a locker here and there, and a few times bullies had gratified his locker.
"I bet man! He can remind me of Rachel all the time. Its sometimes like having a brother and sister at the same time! Just be glad he doesn't have a monthly visit from Aunt Flow!"
Blaine blinked and shook his head. "Dude! I did not want to think about that! I'm gay and don't have to deal with that!" He felt a little bad for all the straight guys out there who did. That could not be fun. "You and every other straight guy can have fun with that," He didn't want to think of Kurt as being a girl either. He may have some hobbies that were generally feminine and liked to wear nice clothes and spent way too much time on his hair and had a moisturizing routine and had a high pitched voice, but he was a guy. Some jerks out there were just too ignorant to see that.
"They better sound like fighting words! Cause they are! You can't handle none of this boy band! We got a secret weapon called Push It!!"
Boy band? Okay, yeah the Warblers were all guys, but they went to an all boys school. What did he expect? "Push It?" Blaine asked, blinking in confusion. "As in the Salt-n-Pepa song? Do I want to know the story behind that one?" New Directions stories got pretty crazy. They had so much drama in the club, that Blaine could not keep track of who was dating who most of the time. Kurt had to fill him in. So, knowing the club, this story could be about any number of things.

"Yeah, I guess that's pretty cool. I can appreciate the athleticism about that,"
Finn shrugged not really understanding Blaine's hesitation towards the NFL half time shows. Just because there were sometimes girls in it doesn't mean he has to dislike it. That would be like a straight guy not liking wrestling because it involved me grappling. Oh well if glee club taught him one thing it was that everyone is who they are and that was fine with Finn.
"It's so true! That came on the other day when we were watching Project Runway and he just went off about it while I was laughing. I do agree about the outfit though. It is awful,"
Finn laughed at Blaine's story being able to relate to it due to the fact it had happened more than once with him and Kurt. "Well I think the point is for her to look crazy. Sad fact his she is still dancing better then me!"
"Yeah, that sucks man. I wish everyone had that. You guys totally deserve it. And I couldn't even imagine getting thrown in a dumpster or getting a slushie thrown in my face. Kurt says it's like getting bitch slapped by an iceberg and that does not sound appealing at all,"
"Me too, but hey coach says if it doesn't kill ya it makes ya stronger." Getting bitch slapped my an iceberg, now that would be a feeling. He had been bitch slapped before but he did feel the word 'iceberg' was a little much. Then again Kurt's skin was much more fair then his so it might not have felt like that to him. "I wouldn't go that far, but it is pretty unpleasant!"
"Dude! I did not want to think about that! I'm gay and don't have to deal with that! You and every other straight guy can have fun with that,"
"Oh yeah fun sure. You guys just go off and do your thing while we make sure more babies are born." Finn said laughing. That made Finn thing though, if Kurt got married and took in a kid would it turn out like Rachel? Then he thought if he would be a good dad...He wasn't really sure with all of the events of last year.
"Push It? As in the Salt-n-Pepa song? Do I want to know the story behind that one?"
Finn shook his head embarrassed thinking of the first number they had done in front of the student body. It was so weird. Plus his current brother had given him a nice slap on the ass..."Well lets just say...Rachel's idea."

"Well I think the point is for her to look crazy. Sad fact his she is still dancing better then me!"
Blaine laughed at that. It was true, Finn really was a bad dancer. Blaine wasn't the best, but he wasn't the worst dancer in the Warblers. Sure, he had only seen Finn dance a few times, but he had heard the story about Finn breaking Rachel's nose. Note to self: Stay away from Finn when he's dancing. Especially because he's way taller than you are.
"Me too, but hey coach says if it doesn't kill ya it makes ya stronger. I wouldn't go that far, but it is pretty unpleasant!"
He nodded a little bit. Blaine knew that both Kurt and Finn both talked from personal experience, but he was more inclined to believe Kurt and not just because he was his boyfriend. He knew Kurt used to get slushied on a daily basis. It was so bad that he had had to bring a change of clothes to school. Blaine knew how long Kurt planned out outfits and just thinking that Kurt had to take time to plan out two different outfits everyday just made him sad. And he had heard Kurt's rants about how hard it was to get the flavored syrup out of cashmere and well, anything really. Finn had what, gotten slushied once maybe? But he wasn't going to voice those opinions out loud. "I bet. I know how many times Kurt has been slushied, and he's the strongest person I know," he said, truly believing his words. He wished he was as strong and brave as Kurt was. Kurt inspired him to want to be a braver, stronger, better person.
"Oh yeah fun sure. You guys just go off and do your thing while we make sure more babies are born."
Well...that was an interesting way to put that. Blaine never implied anything about childbirth or anything. He in fact wished that one day he could have kids. Be it from adoption or a surrogate because those were really the two options he had. In his dreams, he had imagined Kurt at his side, but he didn't want to get ahead of himself and he would never say that aloud to anybody. All of that was way in the future, and who knows what he or Kurt would be up to then, if they would even still be together. Blaine didn't want to think about not being with Kurt right now, but in the future it was a very real possibility. But the important thing right now, is that they were together and they were extremely happy. They would worry about what came after high school later. "Right. Yeah okay. Sure," he said, laughing a little awkwardly.
"Well lets just say...Rachel's idea."
Ah. Well. That explained some things. He had heard stories from Kurt about how extreme she could get at times. "I'm sure not all her ideas are bad. You guys won Regionals because she was the one that suggested original songs right?" he asked curiously. He liked Rachel. When they had gone on their 'date' they had had a really good time. He just wished he hadn't been questioning his sexuality at all. That was something he didn't want to ever relieve. From the drunken kiss with her to waking up hungover in Kurt's bed not knowing where he was, to his argument with Kurt...yeah...not something he liked thinking about.

"I bet. I know how many times Kurt has been slushied, and he's the strongest person I know,"
Kurt being on of the strongest people he knows...He did go to Dalton to evade bullying as did Blaine. But Kurt put up with the longer, and he was the only gay kid at the school so despite the glee club being his friends he was still alone when it came to that. When Kurt was at Dalton he wasn't bullied and he had Blaine and yet he still came back to McKinley. If that wasn't the traits of a strong man then Finn must not have known what strength was. "Its true, He's tough as nails and sometimes too bold." He took a sip of his drink.
"I'm sure not all her ideas are bad. You guys won Regionals because she was the one that suggested original songs right?"
"Oh yeah its so true. There was no way we would have gotten far at all if it weren't for her and her drive." He then sighed. "She has come up with a number other crazy ideas though. Like her songs 'My Headband' and 'Only Child'." He laughed to himself a little. "There was also the Run Joey Run vidoe...that was interesting." He didn't care to mention the methods he and Rachel went through to throw the last couples competition. "She has a lot of wild ideas but she makes up for them by being awesome."
